What we store
- Formulations you create: ingredients, doses, format, and settings. Anonymous formulas are stored under a random share token; signed-in formulas are attached to your account.
- Contact details you enter in a quote request: name, company, email, phone, and your notes.
- Quote requests: the frozen specification, which manufacturers received it, and delivery status. We store a salted hash of your IP address for rate limiting, not the address itself.
- Account data: email, name, and company if you sign in.
How we use it
To run the builder, save and share your formulas, forward quote requests to the manufacturers you asked us to contact, email you confirmations, and keep the Service reliable.
Who we share it with
- Manufacturing partners receive your formulation and contact details only when you submit a quote request and consent on the form.
- Resend delivers our transactional email.
- PostHog collects product analytics (page views and feature usage). Analytics events never include your name, email, or formulation contents, and we honor your browser's Do Not Track setting.
- Supabase hosts our database, authentication, and file storage. Vercel hosts the application.
We do not sell personal data.
Cookies
We use a session cookie when you sign in and a first-party analytics cookie. Anonymous formulas are saved in your browser's local storage.
Retention and deletion
Formulas and quote requests are kept while your account exists or, for anonymous formulas, while their share link is in use. Delete your account from the account page or email us and we will remove your formulas and anonymize your quote requests. Manufacturers who already received a request keep their own copy.
