Moringa Leaf Powder

Botanicalsuperfood greenLimited dose evidence

Also known as: Moringa oleifera, drumstick tree leaf, moringa leaf, malunggay

Add to a formula

Moringa is the dried, milled leaf of Moringa oleifera, a fast-growing tree cultivated across South Asia and Africa. The leaf is naturally rich in protein, vitamins A and C, calcium, iron, and polyphenols, and it is used in greens powders, capsules, and smoothie blends as a nutrient-dense green. Human trials have looked at glycemic markers in adults with prediabetes and diabetes, but studies are small and results are inconsistent, so it is positioned as a food-like green rather than a targeted active.

Research summary

Polyphenols and isothiocyanates studied for antioxidant and glucose-handling effects in preclinical models.
