Quercetin Phytosome (Quercefit)

Quercetin phytosome is quercetin complexed with sunflower lecithin phospholipids, sold as Quercefit by Indena. The complex is designed to overcome the poor water solubility of plain quercetin; the manufacturer's pharmacokinetic study reported substantially higher plasma quercetin exposure than an equal dose of the unformulated compound. It is used in the same immune, cardiovascular, and healthy-aging formulas as quercetin dihydrate but at a lower label dose. About 40% of the complex by weight is quercetin.
